Ordinary Americans Now Understand the Democrat Riot Playbook
Finding their positions on the issues to be unpopular with voters, Democrat activist groups are returning to what they do best: rioting, looting and attacking police
Mostly peaceful but fiery protests in Los Angeles
To their dismay, the Democrats are discovering that the country has changed since the glory days of 2020.
That’s when when a cadre of far-left, self-proclaimed “trained Marxists” set off the Black Lives Matter “summer of love” that killed at least 17 people and caused between $1 and $2 billion in damages, from arson, vandalism, and looting in over 2,000 cities and towns across the United States.
Virtually all of those arrested in those riots, brought before courts in Democrat-controlled jurisdictions and initially charged with minor offenses, were released without charges.
Back then, Democrat politicians egged on the so-called “protesters” — many of whom, it turned out, were paid professional rioters (some netting $300 per day in “base pay,” not counting how many high-definition TVs they could loot).
Then U.S. Senator Kamala Harris urged her supporters to donate to a Minnesota nonprofit “to help post bail” for individuals arrested in the Minneapolis riots.
And just as TV news crews this year filmed cars passing out riot shields and gas masks to the “protesters,” back in 2020 news crews stumbled upon pallets of pre-positioned bricks that just “appeared” out of nowhere, to the delight of “protesters” hurling them at police. (Democrats later claimed that the bricks were from construction sites that protesters moved in advance.)
In other words: the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots were a professional operation, fully funded by a coalition of far-left activist groups and Democrat Party fundraising organizations.
Normie Americans watched in dismay as thousands of rioters smashed storefront windows across America, helping themselves to TVs, jewelry and the obligatory Nike and Adidas basketball shoes.
All while the police, ordered by Democrat politicians to do nothing, did nothing.
The corporate media, of course, to howls of derision from most of the country, labeled the riots “mostly peaceful” even when cars and buildings were burning in the background.
Now the Democrats are hoping they can gin up BLM 2.0 by extending the anti-deportation “protests” nationwide with No Kings Day.
As Newsweek puts it, “the "No Kings" protest against President Donald Trump and his administration is set to be the largest nationwide mobilization since Trump took office, according to organizers.”
There’s only one problem:
Normie Americans now finally understand the leftist playbook.
And this time around, an energized Trump Administration, backed by opinion polls showing substantial support for the deportation of illegal alien gang members, has no intention of letting the rioters and looters off with a judicial slap on the wrist.
A CBS News/YouGov poll conducted June 4–6 found that 54 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s deportation policies.
In addition, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and “data activists” such as DataRepublican revealed what many suspected but few could ever prove: the far-left’s so-called take over of U.S. institutions was funded with taxpayer (and corporate) money.
What DOGE revealed to ordinary Americans is precisely how the political Left successfully captured so many government organizations – through the gradual and patient hiring of professional activists in government positions.
These government employees then illegally funneled billions of dollars in taxpayer funds to far-left groups outside of the government itself, through government agencies such as U.S. AID.
And at least some of that cash went to activist groups organizing riots, looting, arson and attacks on police – such as the Black Lives Matter riots in 2020.
In other words: while the Democrats pretend that these “protests” are spontaneous expressions of grassroots anger over Trump policies, they are carefully organized terrorist operations by professional activists.
In fact, you can make a good case that the riots are a nationwide shakedown operation like the Mafia’s old protection rackets.
Put a BLM poster in your store window… contribute to the cause… or we might not be able to “protect” your business. Capisc?
According to a report in Newsweek and a database created by the Claremont Institute, U.S. Big Business got the message.
The amount of money corporate America contributed to BLM and affiliated organizations added up to a whopping $82 billion.
American Express contributed $50 million.
Amazon, $169 million. Blackrock, $810 million. CVS Health, $600 million. JP Morgan, $30 BILLION.
That’s right: $30 BILLION.
That buys a lot of bricks and Molotov cocktails!
Literally HUNDREDS of America’s biggest companies shelled out for Black Lives Matter… even after it was revealed that its leaders were siphoning millions into their own personal accounts.
As an article in Newsweek describes it:
Most Americans have happily moved on from the 2020 Black Lives Matter (BLM)-driven ransacking of some 200 American cities, which resulted in as much as $2 billion in property damage and at least 25 deaths.
But that time must be remembered for more than rioting and destruction. The BLM pressure campaigns, harassment, and moral blackmail also amounted to possibly the most lucrative shakedown of corporate America in its history.
Now, the Democrats, the corporate media and affiliated leftist organizations are hoping they can replicate the success of the BLM grift with NO KINGS riots across the country.
But America now understands what they’re doing.
And this time, America is ready.
