What is this about?

Welcome to Disputed Questions, edited by me, Robert Hutchinson. I am a full-time writer, essayist and author, exploring the ideas that divide us with logic, a bit of humor and, I hope, fairness.

I occasionally pen columns and essays for media websites such as Fox News, Mercatornet, Newsmax and Catholic Exchange. My books on early Christianity and popular history can be found on Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.

In terms of my outlook, I’m a lifelong Catholic who spent my youth studying Hebrew in Israel and earning an M.A. in Biblical studies at an evangelical seminary. I am currently pursing graduate studies in philosophy in Europe. I think all lives matter, including the unborn, and believe governments exist to serve the interests of their citizens, not those of multinational corporations. For this reason, I am better described as a nationalist or national populist than as a conservative.

My hobbies include traveling around the world, mangling foreign languages (current targets are German and Latin) and practicing the Japanese martial art of Aikido (which is similar to traditional Japanese jujitsu). You can email me at: roberthutchinson@substack.com.
