In 2020, Republicans, not Democrats, controlled the State legislatures of all the battleground states in which Trump challenged the validity of the election - Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, & Wisconsin. Because of the Pandemic, they changed election laws to allow no-excuse vote-by-mail.
2. Some states have had vote-by- mail for years before the 2020 elections. Eight states—California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Washington and the District of Columbia—allow all elections to be conducted entirely by mail.
Two states—Nebraska and North Dakota—permit counties to opt into conducting elections by mail.
Nine states—Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico and Wyoming—allow specific small elections to be conducted by mail.
Four states—Idaho, Minnesota, New Jersey and New Mexico—permit mostly-mail elections for certain small jurisdictions.
3. Vote-by-mail is safe & secure. States that have had Vote-by-mail for years have not had sufficient fraud that would change the outcome of our national elections.
Confidence in an election has nothing to do with whether it was improper. There were multiple lawsuits filed & 0 got past pretrial motions stage. Most of the federal judges involved were Republican appointees. I'm a life long Republican but I'm tired of this nonsense. Requiring paper, in-person, voting denies voting to our soldiers & diplomats overseas. Nothing is wrong with early voting either. You show up at the Clerks office, show identification, you vote. The claims against electronic voting were so frivolous the plaintiffs were sacked with attorneys fees. Show me proof of enough illegal votes to overturn the election. You can't.
I agree that we probably should have absentee ballots for active duty soldiers and diplomats overseas, and only for them. This is what European nations do that otherwise ban mail-in ballots. However, the Democrats used this "exception" to create an election regime in which untraceable mail-in ballots are the rule, not the exception.
As for the judges: please. The vast majority of the lawsuits filed, as even Politfact acknowledges, were dismissed merely on jurisdictional or procedural grounds. Only a handful even bothered to consider the evidence.
That includes the lawsuit brought by the State of Texas before the U.S. Supreme Court, Texas v. Pennsylvania, which claimed that Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin violated the Constitution by election officials illegally changing their election procedures prior to the election to allow unprecedented numbers of mail-in ballots to be used.
The suit alleged that the four states "ignor[ed] statutory requirements as to how [mail-in ballots] were received, evaluated and counted." The U.S. Supreme Court refused to review that evidence and simply dismissed the suit on the grounds that Texas lacked standing under the Constitution to challenge the election procedures of another state.
The fact that Joe Biden, who barely campaigned at all and even then was widely believed to be suffering from dementia, supposedly received more votes than any presidential candidate in history -- 10 million more votes than Barack Obama at the height of his popularity -- is enough to call into question the fairness and accuracy of mail-in balloting. The 2020 election was the ONLY election in which 69% of the population voted with mail-in ballots or other "non-traditional means."
Thank you for this factual information piece, regarding the American voting process and how corrupt (D's) cheated in 2020 with their new voter policies. There was zero reason to change the 200 year old process and that alone shows complete intent to cheat and fraudulently count votes and report only what fits their agenda.

It is 100% factual information: because of the way election officials conduct elections in the United States -- with mail-in ballots lacking adequate chain of custody mechanisms and with so-called "ballot harvesting" performed by partisans -- large numbers of or citizens no longer have faith that their votes are fairly counted. This, more than anything else, is undermining faith in American democracy.
